Once the work on site is completed, we can provide everything needed to process (clean and package), research, identify, report and archive the materials and records produced.
Working with in-house experts and recognised external specialists we tailor the work to the requirement of each project, producing illustrated reports at an appropriate level. We ensure that the archive is deposited in a timely fashion and to the required standards and guidance. With expertise in funerary archaeology and osteology, we also provide assessment and analysis of inhumations and cremated bone, producing illustrated reports and publications to recognised standards. We can provide guidance on the selection of samples for radiocarbon dating and assist with and advise on the use of stable isotope analyses, aDNA and facial reconstruction.
Since the 1990s, Director, Natasha Powers, has excavated and analysed assemblages from across the UK, Ireland and in Germany, including nationally significant sites, and has researched and published on aspects of the osteology and funerary archaeology of assemblages dating from the prehistoric to the post-medieval periods.
We aim to provide value for money and present expert information in a clear and knowledgeable fashion.
