
Constance graduated from Sorbonne University in Paris with an undergraduate and postgraduate degree and has an MA in archaeology from the University of York. She is experienced in producing written schemes of investigation, recording standing buildings and has a strong research background. This includes directing archaeological excavations at Bamburgh Castle – a training and community excavation in Northumberland – for the last ten years, as well as undertaking teaching and mentoring work for organisations in northern England. Through these roles she is well-versed in consulting with stakeholders and coordinating responses.
